These Terms of use (the “Terms”) govern the relationship between a user (the “Customer”) and TurtleGuard when using the control panel, the edge network, DNS hosting and any related services.
1. Subject
TurtleGuard gives the Customer access to protection for web applications and APIs: DDoS filtering at L3/L4/L7, a WAF built on OWASP CRS, CDN, TLS, authoritative DNS and attack analytics. A site is connected either by changing an A record or by delegating the zone to TurtleGuard name servers.
2. Registration and account
- Using the service requires registration and a confirmed email address.
- The Customer must provide accurate details and keep the account secure.
- Two-factor authentication is recommended for every account with an active subscription.
3. Plans and payment
Prices are shown on the pricing page and in the control panel. Charges are taken monthly or yearly, depending on the period chosen. Prices are quoted without VAT; VAT is added on invoicing where applicable law requires it.
4. Acceptable use
The Customer must not use the service to host or proxy:
- content that breaks applicable law;
- phishing or malware resources;
- services that organise attacks on third parties;
- resources that infringe the intellectual property of others.
5. Availability and credits
The target availability of the edge network is 99.99% per month. If the guaranteed level is not met, the Customer is entitled to a credit against the next billing period in line with the plan terms.
6. Confidentiality
Personal data is handled under the Privacy policy. Request logs are kept from 7 to 90 days depending on the plan and are used for analytics and incident investigation.
7. Suspension and termination
TurtleGuard may suspend the service if these Terms are broken, if an invoice goes unpaid, or if an account looks compromised. The Customer may stop using the service at any time from the control panel; moving DNS away and switching the proxy off is done within 24 hours of the request.
8. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. TurtleGuard is not liable for indirect damages, lost profit, or the unavailability of third-party services outside our edge network.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes are published on this page no later than 14 days before they take effect. The date of the last update is shown above.
